Treasured Tots Bicton: A true home-away-from-home

Mother of three and owner of Treasured Tots, Simone O’Brien, had a single driving passion when she set up her first early education centre – and that was to create a nurturing, inclusive environment that wholly complemented the parental/guardian role. After all, leaving the most precious members of your family in the care of someone else is a pretty big deal.

• A newly built, custom-tailored space: The Bicton facility has been designed specifically as a childcare centre. The use of light, layout and natural flow between indoor and outdoor space creates a harmonious environment where children feel safe and secure. Learning zones, an art studio, relaxation areas and, crucially – an outdoor space offering a wonderful place to be at one with nature – provide the ultimate combination of home comforts and neural stimulation in these important formative years.

• Delicious, nutritious food that promotes great eating habits: Snacks and meals are a vital part of every child’s day, which is why our menus are designed by a paediatric nutritionist. Not only does this mean that children are getting the right combo of nutrients, but it’s age-appropriate and highly palatable. Of course, we can cater to all dietary requirements and allergies as well.

• Feeling secure, safe and comfortable: Providing a homely environment where your little ones feel truly relaxed underpins every Treasured Tots centre. At Bicton, children and families benefit from a light, airy design that takes full advantage of the natural environment. Children are free to move around, allowing them access to quiet areas to relax at will, as well as learning zones filled with objects and materials that stimulate the brain and encourage curiosity and exploration.

That’s why our outside space includes a nature garden of discovery – a place to learn about the great outdoors and the wonders of flora and fauna. Children even get to help tend and eat the spoils from our dedicated veggie garden.

This includes pick-up debriefs, our unique in-app updates and regular family events to ensure you remain fully informed at all times.
