Good to know
CCS in plain words
In your Centrelink online account through myGov.
Services Australia sets it from your family income. It can be up to 90% for your first child, and up to 95% for a second or younger child aged 5 or under.
Services Australia holds back 5% of your CCS by default and pays it once your family income is confirmed.
You can change the withholding in your Centrelink account. Our estimates are before the withholding.
At least 72 hours a fortnight for every eligible family, under the 3 Day Guarantee.
Families with 48 or more hours of work, study or volunteering a fortnight can get up to 100 hours.
Bicton's $189.38 fee is above the hourly cap, so CCS is worked out on $174.69 and you also pay the $14.69 difference.
Hamersley ($3.05 a day) and Bibra Lake ($3.05 a day) are just above the cap too. Every other centre is under it.
