The Reggio Emilia Approach is all about progressive and cooperative early childhood education.
While we're not in the charming town of Reggio Emilia, we've woven our own special version of the approach tailored to our community's needs. Just like no two snowflakes are alike, no two Reggio Emilia-inspired communities look the same. It's all about embracing the unique needs and interests of our children, families, and educators.

Our curriculum
Built on children's strengths
Our approach to curriculum development is reflective of our beliefs about children and childhood. It encompasses current educational theory and practices and acknowledges that each child has their own learning style, special talents, interests and needs. The curriculum is founded upon children's strengths and emerging interests and provides meaningful opportunities for children to explore, initiate, investigate, discover, interact, create, solve problems and engage in collaborative learning.
Family input is welcomed on our OWNA app and "all about me" forms. Tell us about something they have been learning at home, and you are contributing to our program.
We build on this input, as well as ideas and interests that come from the children, to form the basis of the program each day.
