Fees & CCS

How much does Treasured Tots cost?

$172.45 a day at Bennett Springs, Fremantle, Mandurah and Piara Waters; $177.74 at Bibra Lake and Hamersley; $189.38 at Bicton.

One daily fee covers the whole session and the meals cooked on site. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) brings the amount you pay down.

How much will I pay after CCS?

It depends on your CCS percentage and the days your child attends.

Use the CCS calculator for your centre, CCS percentage and days.

Why is the gap higher at Bicton?

Because Bicton's $189.38 daily fee is above the CCS hourly rate cap, so CCS is worked out on $174.69, not the full fee.

The 2026–27 cap is $15.19 an hour; 11.5 hours × $15.19 = $174.69. At 90% CCS, a Bicton family pays about $32.16 a day. Hamersley ($177.74) and Bibra Lake ($177.74) are just above the cap too: about $20.52 a day at Hamersley and $20.52 at Bibra Lake on 90% CCS.

Worked examples

Do I pay for public holidays or days my child is away?

Yes: you pay for every booked day, including public holidays and days your child is away. The exception is our Christmas and New Year closure: our centres close so our educators get a well-deserved break, and families don't pay for care over that time.

What is the 3 Day Guarantee?

Since January 2026, every family eligible for CCS gets at least 72 subsidised hours a fortnight, whatever their work or study hours.

Three days a week at any Treasured Tots centre is 69 hours a fortnight, so it fits inside the guarantee. Families with 48 or more hours of activity a fortnight can get up to 100 hours.

Rooms & ratios

What are the educator-to-child ratios?

In WA: one educator for every 4 children under 2, one for every 5 aged 2 to 3, and one for every 10 from 3 to preschool age.

These are the minimums set by the national regulations for WA. Rooms are staffed to regulations and above at all times.

What do children learn?

Our program follows Australia's Early Years Learning Framework, with an approach inspired by Reggio Emilia.

Projects grow from what the children are curious about, and you're part of the planning.

Kindy in WA

Can my child do school kindy and long day care?

Yes: many families combine school kindy days with long day care on the other days.

Kindy program

When does my child start pre-primary?

In WA, pre-primary is the first compulsory year of school, for children who turn 5 by 30 June that year.

Pre-primary runs full-time at school, so most children finish long day care the year before.
